Europe 2050 – Following a cascade of ecological crises, our world has been deprived of healthy ecosystems and wealthy flora. Amidst this dystopian landscape lies a lavish green beacon of hope: Dr. Beatrice Kukac’s Pollinator Park -a futuristic farm, a safe haven for pollinating insects and an eye-opener for its visitors.

Looking Ahead:

Looking Back:

Last week, NIU STEAM put on their Sustainability Camp at 71 North. The camp empowered students to take action for a more sustainable future by exploring real-world environmental challenges and solutions. Students learned from NIU faculty and community professionals while engaging with native ecosystems, examining corporate sustainability efforts, and designing compact, sustainable food and water systems. With a focus on restoring, reevaluating, and reimagining our impact, the camp emphasized that the time for change is now.
